AHO and ZIMFED signs Memorandum of Understanding on 25 August 2012.

Africa Health Organisation (AHO) and Zimbabwe Female Empowerment and Development (ZIMFED) signed a MOU paving the way for working together to improve the lives of Zimbabwean women especially in rural areas. The MOU was signed in Magonde area of Makonde District in Mashonaland West Province witnessed by local authorities, chiefs, traditional healers and members of the community. Africa Medical Exchange Programme (AMEDPRO) to be launched on 15 December 2012

Africa Health Organisation will be launching its Flagship programme, Medical Exchange Programme (AMEDPRO) on 15 December 2012. The programme provides a window for engaging with Africa and the world in the field of health and medicine through exchange, visits, research, study, pairing, short to medium to long term placements, rural attachment, jungle medicine expedition, etc in a new global common approach. Africa Health Organisation supports Association of Disabled People.

AHO welcomes the establishment of African Association of Disabled People who will be celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December 2012. The association is a user-led group which champions the cause of African disabled people. The theme for 2012 is "Removing barriers to create an inclusive and accessible society for all." World Mental Health Day 10 October 2012 celebrated across the world to increase awareness and understanding of mental health issues. AHO is setting up massive campaign and develop systems of emergency preparedness and humanitarian.


World Heart Day 29 September 2012 celebrated across the world to increase awareness and understanding of heart heart, heart disease and risk factors. AHO is setting up massive campaign and develop systems of heart health screening across Africa.
